The House

Nana Afërdit sewed wedding dresses for half of Prizren from her front room. Fatlinda learned to cut at her table, and in 2016 opened a two-machine studio in Prizren.

Today fourteen seamstresses work on Rruga Rexhep Kabashi. Each dress is cut, sewn and finished by one pair of hands, and the maker's initials are stitched inside the hem.
